How to track status of your Voters ID application?
Until a few years ago, the only way to track was by visiting the electoral office. However, now the times have changed and the Government of India has launched a website for applicants to track the status of their Voters ID.
One can track the status of a new Voters ID in 3 ways:
a. Website:
- Visit the website by NVSP – https://www.nvsp.in/
- Click on Track Application Status

3. Enter the reference id that you have received while applying for the card
b. SMS:
It is straightforward to track the status of the voter application through SMS.
Send a message to the electoral officer in this format:” EPIC <space> Your Voter ID application Number. “
c. Visiting the election office in person
Visit your nearest election office in person and share the Voter ID application number with the electoral officer and he will help you to know the status of your Voters ID.
